Fugly fabric party giveaway!

UPDATE - This giveaway is now closed.

The WINNERS
Wendy - Pack A, Gina - Pack B, Sallie - Pack C

Lucy at Charm About You is hosting a fugly fabric party.
Fugly Fabric Party

Here's the deal.  We all have fabric that we don't want anymore.  I personally have inherited some pretty fugly fabrics over the years from friends who didn't want it to go to waste.  The problem is,  I'll NEVER use it, but the fabric hoarder in me can't throw it out because it is perfectly good fabric.

So, I'm giving away two packs of fabric (one per winner) to anyone who comments below. Tell me what you think you can do with this fabric, and which fabric pack you want.  The people whose answers I like the best will win! I will pay postage anywhere in the USA.

PACK A
DSCN9658
This pack of fabric contain 1/2 yard to whole yard cuts of the orange flower and blue fabrics.  The pooh fabric is at least two yards.

PACK B
DSCN9655
Pack B contains a variety of 1/4 yard cuts, some small scraps, and about 1 yard of the grey fabric (the grey is a slightly heavier weight cotton)

PACK C
DSCN9675
These are not exactly fugly, but they have been living in a large dark tote box for years and long to see the light of a sewing machine! 4FQs and 1yrd

This giveaway closes on Valentines day morning (Berlin time) and the winner will be announced shortly after that.  So, someone please take this fabric Good Luck to Everyone.

  1. I'm not 100% sure but I definitely could use them somewhere, even if it was for a mission quilt!

  2. I would LOVE to get in on the chance to win pack number one!!! Not sure exactly *what* I'd do with the orange-- but I really love it! I'm so into bright prints lately--- maybe because I'm so looking forward to Springtime!! :-) The blues could either be worked in with other blues that I have for a pretty little baby quilt-- OR-- they do appear to match the Winnie the Pooh print-- and they would make ADORABLE ruffles, pockets, collar, etc.. in conjunction with the Winnie fabic for an adorable little outfit for my granddaughter! Coincidentally, her Mommy and Daddy chose Winnie the Pooh for her shower theme. :-) Thank you for the giveaway and chance to win! :-)

  6. I love Pack A! I'm a big fan of Winnie the Pooh (perfect for baby quilt backings), and I can always use some good blue fabric for my quilt projects. Not sure what to make with the orange fabric, but it's fun and bright.

  10. I like the first pack with the light blue checks. I can see both of those light blues as linings for small pouch/purses. Or as a background for some kind of applique work- I just made a tea cozy with a strip-piecing teapot on it.

  11. Oh, the first pack! My nephew and his wife have a new baby and they have decorated with that pooh theme. I've been pulling together fabrics to make a baby quilt for him, and the pooh plus some of those blues and whites would be PERFECT!! Thanks :)

    1. Joyce, I see that you are a no-reply blogger and the email you gave me doesn't seem to work. This kinda hinders my ability to contact you if you win.
