Lucy at Charm About You is hosting a fugly fabric party.
Here's the deal. We all have fabric that we don't want anymore. I personally have inherited some pretty fugly fabrics over the years from friends who didn't want it to go to waste. The problem is, I'll NEVER use it, but the fabric hoarder in me can't throw it out because it is perfectly good fabric.
So, I'm giving away two packs of fabric (one per winner) to anyone who comments below. Tell me what you think you can do with this fabric, and which fabric pack you want. The people whose answers I like the best will win! I will pay postage anywhere in the USA.

PACK A
This pack of fabric contain 1/2 yard to whole yard cuts of the orange flower and blue fabrics. The pooh fabric is at least two yards.
PACK B
I'm not 100% sure but I definitely could use them somewhere, even if it was for a mission quilt!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to get in on the chance to win pack number one!!! Not sure exactly *what* I'd do with the orange-- but I really love it! I'm so into bright prints lately--- maybe because I'm so looking forward to Springtime!! :-) The blues could either be worked in with other blues that I have for a pretty little baby quilt-- OR-- they do appear to match the Winnie the Pooh print-- and they would make ADORABLE ruffles, pockets, collar, etc.. in conjunction with the Winnie fabic for an adorable little outfit for my granddaughter! Coincidentally, her Mommy and Daddy chose Winnie the Pooh for her shower theme. :-) Thank you for the giveaway and chance to win! :-)
ReplyDeleteoh there are quite a few bits in pack b I like, I like autumn colours and leaves, thanks for the chance to win and I'll gladly pay the postage here to france:)
ReplyDeleteI like b my grandson is six and he likes city themes on fabric. He wants a big guy quilt on his bed, so b seems to fit right for him. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteforget the kids - I'd use the winnie the pooh fabrics and the blues to make a lap quilt for me ! I love winnie the pooh :) and that orange fabric is gorgeous - again - I'd incorporate it into a quilt with some of my orange in my stash - thanks for the chance to win - btw - I'd be happy to pay postage :)
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say I'm interested in pack A !
DeleteI love Pack A! I'm a big fan of Winnie the Pooh (perfect for baby quilt backings), and I can always use some good blue fabric for my quilt projects. Not sure what to make with the orange fabric, but it's fun and bright.
ReplyDeleteI love pack A! I would use the orange flower print in my king size yoyo quilt I am making. I would use the Pooh fabric to make a diaper hanger and sheet set for my niece who is expecting in April as her nursery will be in blues/whites
ReplyDeleteI like pack B. I could use it with future Block Lotto blocks. I LOVE those city buildings. But I'm also a green lover and have lots of greens that I would use with making more string blocks. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI actually like both of them, but I think I could use Pack B more. I would use them to make up charity quilts for my local senior center.
ReplyDeleteI like the first pack with the light blue checks. I can see both of those light blues as linings for small pouch/purses. Or as a background for some kind of applique work- I just made a tea cozy with a strip-piecing teapot on it.
ReplyDeleteOh, the first pack! My nephew and his wife have a new baby and they have decorated with that pooh theme. I've been pulling together fabrics to make a baby quilt for him, and the pooh plus some of those blues and whites would be PERFECT!! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteExcept for the yellow/orange floral in Pack A what's not to like? The circle is nice...which goes well with the check...which goes well with Pooh! I see a baby quilt! I like the paint brushes in Pack B; I'll let you keep the rest. WINK
ReplyDeleteOh pack A would be great for a baby quilt...I need to make a baby boy quilt! =) Thank you for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI see backing for a comfort quilt. I am always looking for fabrics to piece together so my charity quilts can get quilted and gone.
ReplyDeleteI like pack A best. I would make the orange flowered into a skirt for my 3yr old daughter and the white with balls on it would be great summer pj shorts for my son!
ReplyDeleteI like Pack B and would use them in a prayer quilt that I make for my church ministry! Thanks so much for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI like pack A. Thanks for the chance to win it!
ReplyDeleteOh love pack B but a is also great so put me in to win. I would make me a quilt (some would go to a quilt of 2 1/2 inch squares in diffident color groups.

I love pack A and would use it for our church quilt ministry to make a quilt for an orphan in a foreign country or for our local pregnancy center. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win pack c. I am making a Double Wedding Ring quilt and I am using as many different colors of green and burgandy as I can. ReplyDeleteJoyce, I see that you are a no-reply blogger and the email you gave me doesn't seem to work. This kinda hinders my ability to contact you if you win.
DeleteThank you! I'm very excited to have won pack B! The fabric will make into a lovely prayer quilt for someone! Thanks for your generosity!
